OK, it’s official. The Republican Mike DeWine campaign is officially a bunch of nitwits. Not only did they produce a disgusting ad riding on the backs of the 3,000 dead Americans on 9/11. They doctored the damned thing!

DeWine spokesman Brian Seitchik says the image of the burning towers in the ad is a still photo with computer-generated smoke added.

You know, I’ve had a really fun day today and I must admit that this caps it off right nicely.

First we have the Brown campaign, who came out earlier today with this:

Despite the bipartisan effort in the Senate, and overwhelming support from doctors, patient advocacy groups, religious organizations, and 72 percent of the American public, DeWine sided with Bush and voted against this life-saving research.

Then the Shamansky campaign chimed in the same a bit later:

Let The Race Baiting Begin!

Openers has the details of a new Blackwell mailer. Only a matter of time, really, until the full on race baiting. It will only get more and more overt as time goes on I’m guessing. Desperation brings out the worst in us.

But I’m sure it is pure coincidence that they chose a man with color for the ad and that they are handing it out on the east side. I’m totally convinced of that, yeah.

Columbus Ohio: The Shamansky for Congress campaign today blasted Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-Genoa Twp) for deriving more than 54% of his campaign contributions this past quarter from special interest Political Action Committees (PACs).
