Wiretapping Vigils

Just got a call from the Columbus MoveOn dude. Late notice, but there are vigils going on around the state tomorrow to bear witness to Bush’s wiretapping forays. Please visit www.moveon.org and find one near you.

Delaware area folks (or anyone near Marion), there is an event going on at 12:00pm at the OSU campus. It will be held at Morrill Hall. Come out if you can. Details here.

This Is Reaching Out?

Just got an email from the Brown campaign. I guess this is what will have to pass for reaching out (full email after the break):

So Bush was at NREL today doing all kinds of “doing a great job here”, “this is important stuff” type glad handedness. He looked absolutely bored and would rather focus on Habitat for Humanity providing homes to needy families (all good) than the implication of energy independence. I found some photos to accompany this piece that I thought might be relevant. I think I’ll “pepper” them throughout – and no, I don’t intend to shoot anyone.

Audio: Paul Hackett on Ed Schultz

Before he was on Hardball tonight, Paul was interviewed by Big Eddie. Talks about the past week and his involvement in IAVA PAC. I will still try to get the video of Hardball, but found it a bit dull. This audio is pretty decent, though. Ed always does a good job and he and Paul mix it up well.
