Voting yes to end the debate on the Alito nominatin, effectively ending a filibuster:
Akaka, Hawaii; Baucus, Mont.; Bingaman, N.M.; Byrd, W.Va.; Cantwell, Wash.; Carper, Del.; Conrad, N.D.; Dorgan, N.D.; Inouye, Hawaii; Johnson, S.D.; Kohl, Wis.; Landrieu, La.; Lieberman, Conn.; Lincoln, Ark.; Nelson, Fla.; Nelson, Neb.; Pryor, Ark.; Rockefeller, W.Va.; Salazar, Colo.
Remember the names, folks. They gave you the changing face of the modern Supreme Court.
Also, remember this little gang.
I’m sure they will all now vote against his final confirmation tomorrow knowing it is a throw away vote and will have “done their jobs”…cowards. So remember, don’t ask if they voted to confirm or not – ask if they voted to block his nomination. Big difference.
