Brown: Bloggers Want Connie Fired!

Alright…now see why bloggers aren’t very enamored with the great honorable gentleman from Lorain? Blame it on the bloggers. Nice:

He added, though, that while he likes Hackett, he is upset at the actions of some of the people commenting on blog Web sites about the campaign. These bloggers, Brown said, are “basically trying to get my wife fired” from the Cleveland newspaper. (The Athens News)

Another from the weekend inbox. Seems the ODP rapid response machinery got all oiled up and ready to go. The PR was about a PD article of the same day:

The Plain Dealer in Cleveland today reports that Secretary of State’s poorly worded gimmick modeled after Colorado’s TABOR/TEL is so poorly worded that it could gut government programs that pay for themselves without tax-supported funds — and in Ohio the grand-daddy of all state-supported programs is Ohio State Buckeye licensing.

Great little piece in The Blade yesterday. I love the contrast in her description of how a “normal” politician tells us it’s raining out:
