(hat tip HFA) This is pretty funny. A group called RightMarch has launched a campaign to get a new cool ass song yo (the kids say “yo” right?) out there to the masses of misled liberal kids. The duo out of Nasvhille, The Right Brothers, sing the tune titled “Bush Was Right”. We’re pretty sure the lyrics were penned by Rove – haven’t we wondered what he’s been doing? – but there has been no verification of this…it has not been thoroughly plunderbunded.

Lyrics, audio sample, video, and commentary after the fold

Here is an audio sample of the song:

Keith Olberman commented on and did the boys a favor and got them started on a video (his coffee spit at the end is priceless):

(hat tip C&L)

Here are the lyrics:

Freedom in Afghanistan, say goodbye Taliban
Free elections in Iraq, Saddam Hussein locked up
Osama?s staying underground, Al Qaida now is finding out
America won?t turn and run once the fighting has begun
Libya turns over nukes, Lebanese want freedom, too
Syria is forced to leave, don?t you know that all this means

Bush was right!
Bush was right!
Bush was right!

Democracy is on the way, hitting like a tidal wave
All over the middle east, dictators walk with shaky knees
Don?t know what they?re gonna do, their worst nightmare is coming true
They fear the domino effect, they?re all wondering who?s next

Repeat Chorus

Ted Kennedy ? wrong!
Cindy Sheehan ? wrong!
France ? wrong!
Zell Miller ? right!

Economy is on the rise kicking into overdrive
Angry liberals can’t believe it’s cause of W’s policies
Unemployment’s staying down, Democrats are wondering how
Revenue is going up, can you say “Tax Cuts”

Repeat Chorus

Cheney was right, Condi was right, Rummy was right, Blair was right
You were right, we were right, ?The Right? was right and Bush was right
Bush was right!
Bush was right!

Something tells me this will show up on the Glenn Beck show soon. Hell, it sounds like the guys who did his old theme song. But here’s the deal guys. A few things wrong with this – OK, alot of things, but I will just cover a few:

1. The song sucks. It’s not original. It will not get played on TRL. Kids are ruthless that way.

2. Another thing about the kids…they are predisposed to oppose! Appealing to kids to support the status quo is like asking Clint Black to do a duo with Eminem. Not gonna happen. Unless kids have changed drastically since my day, they rebel against your BS, not sing along with it.

3. The only viral marketing you will get is that which makes fun of you. Like this here post. Not gonna score points on these here internets.

4. The guys are from Nashville – world famous for housing poser after poser. Trust me, I was there…right in the middle of the underground music scene. These guys are most likely opportunistic posers – something else the kids can smell a mile away (even if they did miss the boat on Korn).
